So question for #infosec. I think I know the answer to this question, but I want to ask to confirm it. I have access to the study material for the Security+ exam, but no access to a test voucher. I also have access to the study materials, and ability to get a voucher for Fortinet NSE4 and beyond certs. Which should I focus my primary energy on to get first, to help me in my struggle to get my first #infosecjob? I was thinking Sec+, and try to fundraise the money for the test. Any thoughts?

@mikemillercyber For me, #knowledge is more important than having #certifications: know how and real life experience is key. Having a degree signals that the candidate has a general, allround base of knowledge. That is a good thing. If the candidate doesn't have a degree, a proof of knowledge can be obtained during the interview if it is conducted thoroughly enough.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and it did say entry level as well so things can be learned.
