I photographed this carousel at dusk with my Olympus 720nm infrared modified digital camera during the local County Fair. The first image was edited with just a custom white balance, and the second image was edited using a technique called the red/blue channel swap. Which version do you prefer?

It turns green foliage, like trees and grass, white or near-white. This version was edited by using a technique called the red/blue channel swap.

This is my Olympus E-PL1 digital camera that was modified to take 720nm infrared images. This is a false color image created by using an in-camera custom white balance. The camera is actually black. I made this photograph by using a mirror, and then flipping the image to the proper orientation while editing afterward.

Pony Express statue commemorating the mail delivery service that operated in 1860 to 1861 between Sacramento, California and Saint Joseph, Missouri in the USA. The horseback riders relayed rapid (for that time) delivery over 1,800 miles (2,896 kilometers) between the two points.
