This is such a good resource, and the River Lea route is a favourite cycle of mine, but it highlights just how poor cycling between cities and towns is in the UK.

Getting rid of the planned adjacent cycle path to HS2 is just another of the many missed opportunities with that project.

Rain - lots of it (both in frequency and volume) - is perhaps New Zealand’s most obvious climate change impact.
Our aged (and often decrepit) water infrastructure is woefully inadequate to cope with it.
And many Councils continuing opposition to major water infrastructure reform only compounds an ever increasing problem for every city and town across the country.
