Unbelievable. Because it's technically legal to temporarily download an image for certain uses, these photographers work has been (illegally?) used to train A.I. iterations without their permission (the A.I. creators say they don't need it). Maddeningly, they want to charge the photographer because he challenged the concept!

If you share / display uploaded third-party content on your Web server, to be included in the safe harbor protection of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (#DMCA), I did not realize that you have to designate an agent to receive notifications of claimed #copyright #infringement and register this agent with the US Copyright Office.

Hungary is being brought to the EU court of Justice for it's anti-LGBTI law.
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and the European Parliament have already joined the case.
