My best friend bought me the Diamine #Inkvent2022 calendar as a belated birthday gift, and I finally get to open it! As people in my pen club know all too well, I only buy green inks and ink samples as a (utterly futile) attempt to rein in my collection. But I do like other colors so now I have an excuse to indulge outside the green range. #FountainPens #FountainPenInk

At midnight I'm going to open my #Diamine #Inkvent2022 calendar! I specifically didn't read about the inks, so I have no idea what colors are included. This is my first time getting the calendar (since I only got into #FountainPens in August), so I'm excited! ✒️ I have a #Midori MD notebook and a #Kakimori dip pen with the brass nib to do the swatches and writing samples. I didn't prep what I'm going to write, just see how it goes.

I'm not good with introducing myself, so I'll just jump right in to posting tomorrow with images and thoughts about each day of the Diamine Inkvent Calendar for 2022.
