If Sen. Pol hadn't issued a statement condemning the hate message, the story could have been missed or not covered if it was just a graffiti entry on a log at the PD.

Personal note. After the endless special sessions on #abortion and #trans athletes last year it feels like there's been no rest or relief. This entire period of my life has been a dark tunnel.
And this year's session was the worst I've ever experienced. Abuse from anti-#lgbtq and pro-life campaigners in the hallways. Cruelty in committee hearings and on the floor.
It's been traumatic and I'm glad it's over.

I donated to the ACLU of Indiana.
I put as the honoree my state senator.
He co-sponsored much anti-trans legislation the state GOP copied from an oligarchical dark money group.
The donation in his name will help fund the lawsuit against his unconstitutional legislation.

All the efforts to cause a moral panic aren't working where I am. It inspires people to resist.
Young people (and older adults) will be themselves.
I also heard AC/DC's "Hells Bells" at the grocery store today.
It reminded me of the "Satanic Panic" that went over like a lead Zeppelin.

I have yet to hear anything back from these GOP members.
Not even an auto-reply.
The only representative I heard from was a Democratic education committee member outside my district.
The GOP statehouse supermajority doesn't pretend to care.
