If I played #innomine again, I'd probably up the spy/espionage elements and make Heaven and Hell ran both ran by mushed combination of Friend Computer from #paranoia, other GURPS settings and the God Machine with all serial numbers scrubbed off and weirdness/humor dials rolled way up

Hot dang I just saw a mention of #InNomine and now I want to dig up my copy and read it all over again. That game has been one of my longest-running “games I fucking love but have never played” white whales, since I first read it in my teens.

Scrabbling for something to watch after The Last Of Us led us to Miracle Workers and I'll be damned (hah) if it is not the most cynical #InNomine game I have ever seen (and wow have I seen some)

@nerdparker Hopefully with a better system. I've hacked Fate Core to run it, and if I had more time I'd do the same with Cortex Prime.

The In Nomine license really deserves better than to fade away in Steve Jackson’s basement. The #ttrpg space is so much better able to serve that wacky divine conflict than it was when the game came out.

8. If we're just talking pictures, my favourite RPG for the art is In Nomine. I love the bold colours and striking cartoon-like style. It fits the irreverent tone well.

If we're talking complete visual design, it's MORK BORG with it's brash assault on the eyes. The bright colours, the scratchy, ink-spattered drawings, and liberal use of woodcuts and public domain historical pieces.

@nerdybutcute #InNomine was definitely good. There's different qualities of writing too. I love #BluePlanet v2 because of its "technical" detail, particularly descriptions of Poseidon's flora and fauna and how well-thought out the ecosystem is. I also liked the initial swords and sandals vibe of #Exalted 1e but they kind of killed it with oversplatting and it became something different.

Does anybody remember the game In Nomine, by Steve Jackson games? It was a very interesting concept, but it seems to have disappeared from the #ttrpg consciousness.
