Jackson County, Indiana is being sued, along with the sherriff, the jail commander, and its medical staff, and also the contractor/vermin called Advanced Correctional Healthcare, INC, a Tennessee company that provides healthcare to the Jackson County jail, as well as 370 other jails nationwide.

Under their gentle and attentive care, they arrested a schizophrenic for pulling a nurse's hair while going through a mental health emergency.

Whisk! He's taken to the jail. They skip the standard booking procedures, ya know, little things, like medical and mental health diagnostics, and toss him NAKED into a solitary confinement cell. FOR THREE FUCKING WEEKS.

While his mental health emergency was not treated, and in fact worsened, he could also be observed deteriorating. Because they had the fucking cell wired for 24 hour audio/visual surveillance. Assumedly so they could enjoy every second of watching someone die from malnourishment and dehydration.
