Work. I'm a 5th-grade science #teacher from NE Iowa (US). I believe in #inquirylearning; my most beloved teaching moments have been with children following their questions into the natural world.

I love to #read and #write #poetry. My wife and I (and dog. Always a dog!) have a small acreage on ruined hilly farmland where we restore prairie and oak woodlands. I love #science and the #outdoors. We heat with wood and electrify with solar. I'm a local #union leader.
