I know it generally doesn’t even beat OK Computer for best Radiohead album but TBH that album is a bit overplayed for me. If I’m trying to rank albums where every single track is at that level, it almost has to be In Rainbows for me.
Also, my baby seems to love Thom Yorke. Maybe because Thom sings like a big baby. And I mean that in a good way.

It's weird what music does ... it's time travel for your mind. I'm a different person than I was then, but I get a glimpse of that person and that mindset when I listen to music from a particular time, or, in this case, get to watch and listen...

Those carefully layered songs, warm tones, unforgiving distortions, unobtrusive melodies, and on point percussions are just perfection. I so envy these musicians for having the talent and time to have created such a masterpiece. And I am happy that they did.

First #album of the night is #AMoonShapedPool by #Radiohead. I’ve been a huge fan since the days of #PabloHoney (I saw them live shortly after) & this, for me, stands up with their best. #BurnTheWitch, #Daydreaming, #TinkerTailer, & #TrueLoveWaits - I Iove everything here.
The pressing is good, clean, centred, & dynamic… Though the SQ isn’t quite as good as my pressings of #OKComputer or #InRainbows.
I love the presentation & artwork.

Currently spinning #ALightForAttractingAttention, the debut album by #TheSmile, is #ThomYorke and #JohnnyGreenwood’s latest side-project. This is one of my favourite albums of the year so far (and it’s been a good year).
Some of this is reminiscent of earlier #Radiohead and wouldn’t be out of place alongside, say, #InRainbows. It’s really good stuff.
This is the limited edition pressing - it’s clean, flat, centred, with good dynamics.

Le chanteur #ThomYorke a d'ailleurs exprimé plus tard avec regret qu'en voulant perturber l'industrie musicale avec la sortie d'In Rainbows à prix libre voire gratuite, ils ont en fait aidé le modèle des géants du web pour qui la musique n'est qu'un simple contenu disponible."
