#QueenAnnesLace (Daucus carota) looking gorgeously mathematical this afternoon, with creamy umbels fractally arranged in an imperfect but lovely octagonal form 💚

In the center is one tiny purple bloom.

It's an amazing edible #insectattractor, but like several other favorites of mine it's classified by our joyless local agri-bureaucrats as a noxious invasive weed 🙄
