Last week, Rep. #Sheila #Jackson #Lee, D-Texas, reintroduced proposed #legislation that would #punish #white #supremacists whose hateful rhetoric #inspires #violence.

In fact, some conservatives are #openly #decrying it, including — surprise, surprise — #Tucker #Carlson, a Fox News host who has pushed white nationalist conspiracy theories on air.

Well, hello Mastodon. How many #writers do we have here? What do you #write ? What #inspires you?

I've been #writing since I was in middle school, but never realized my #loveofwriting until I was about 23 years old. I though everyone wrote in their spare time and that my crazy ideas were mundane.

Now I know better. I love to write #fantasy, #romance, #historicalfiction, and #childrensliterature. I've also dabbled in #nonfiction and #blogging.
