He podido conectar las externas a mi vieeeeeja #Inspiron #640m y retomar mis respaldos periódicos con #BackInTime (bendito software) vía #ssh, combinado con sincronización de directorios en vivo gracias a #Syncthing.
La viejita me sorprendió aguantando la carga e incluso permitiendo seguir usándola para "respaldar" listas de reproducción de YouTube :awesome:

I upgraded to 2 x 8 Gb RAM from the 1 x 8 Gb it came with. A total transformation of performance. Also fixed #DCsocket which was bad contact and replaced battery, though the latter seems not to have no effect. This video really helpful https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fAalD8ysx8
but need to be careful when separating case at locations where the case is thin e.g. at CD drive or ports. Cracked the case somewhat.

For those asking, at long last, all my current systems are racked up and running. To be truthful, the rack was originally a Frito Lay potato chip display that I snagged from the dumpster behind a local grocery store. Reuse, recycle, etc.
Up top is my Dell Inspiron 1545 notebook with my My Dell 9010 and 3010 Optiplexes just underneath. The Optiplexes are connected with a KVM switch feeding to my desk.
