Stopped at 2 Macdonald's where only 1 #InstaVolt working and people ahead of us saying 1 hour wait.
2 #Osprey not working. 1 #GeniePoint not working. 2 #Swarco wouldn't accept our contact less payment. Now #Podpoint at #Lidl not working.
We ignored 3 #Ecotricity points as they haven't worked for months.
Only 5 miles range left, 18 miles to Bangor Osprey charger.

Confession. In the 11 months we have had an electric car (2016 #Nissan Leaf) I have eaten more McDonald's food than in the rest of my life. Coming to quite enjoy a #MacPlant regular meal with fries and black coffee.
Wise move by them to have so many #InstaVolt chargers.
Currently at Chesterfield on our way to drop off tools at Nottingham and collect a son for Christmas.

This is highway robbery - over double the price of a domestic charger. And because you’re using more juice it costs a lot more. Twenty quids worth of diesel would get me home and back and to work tomorrow. £26.87 from Instavolt and their rivals for a short blast is criminal. The perk of the EV has been short lived by greedy energy providers. I’ll get off my soapbox now. #evcharging #instavolt

The only working #ev rapid charger between Banbury, Coventry and Rugby last night was #Instavolt at McDonald's Daventry. Late night 'festive' apple pie ftw.

Fellow UK #EV drivers saw this today from #instavolt "From 15th November 2022, charging on the InstaVolt network will cost 75p per kWh for all customers across all payment types."
