So it's not everyone on FB or IG that joins but a new crowd probably

We have great moderation tools on Masto and other software that can cut them off within a second if needed

But let's not "block everything by default" but first check..

Has anyone else has an issue like this with #instgram ? About half of the images in my smartphone feed look corrupted like the example below. I have rebooted my phone several times and deleted app and reinstalled it 3 times, but nothing helps. I would guess my phone is having issues, but I don't see this on any other social media site, only Instagram.
