ok, so PSA for #Newyears 2023 (I'm not selling shit btw): #Insurance companies are a huge rip off. I use a mail order pharmacy that does not use insurance at all and it saves me so much money. Example: for a 30 day prescription, I get changed $15 by using my insurance. With my #pharmacy, not using insurance, I get 90 days prescription for $11. High #prescription charges is due to the agreements between #insuranceindustry companies and its "middle men". Don't use it. Research companies like Mark Cubans Cost Plus Drugs or Ro (Roman) pharmacy. I think even Costco has this. Some people say "don't sweat the small stuff"... but that is BS. The small stuff adds up.

@TrishTN @disability while I don’t have a chronic issue/disability thankfully, this year has been tough with misdiagnosed medical issues (which turned out to be a cracked tooth under a fairly new crown) costing me a bucket load of money in non-covered testing expenses and visits to specialists. A year’s worth of the unknown in exchange for a five year payment plan. #insuranceindustry #misdiagnosedmigraine #dentalgaslighting
