@wayemason It doesn't feels like real change on the ground Waye, and even the recently updated open data suggest no improvements in road safety for people #Walking or #Cycling. The vision of the #IntegratedMobilityPlan that I was so excited about in 2017 is currently a long way from the reality that I, and many others who walk or wheel, experience on a day-to-day basis. Literally every day, I witness drivers blowing through crosswalks, or ignoring stop signs & bicycles only signs!

@wayemason @TheWarOnCars I totally get that Waye, but how does that work when there is already a plan, unanimously approved by council in 2017, that sets the direction? I don't see people walking or cycling being prioritized in many of the decisions approved by council which begs the question - what is the point of the #IntegratedMobilityPlan?

It explains an awful lot about the lack of action on the #IntegratedMobilityPlan over the last 5 years in #Kjipuktuk #Halifax. You get it Waye, but many of your colleagues and constituents don’t. There is widespread #CarBrain and #Motonormativity in #ZeroVisionHFX

@BrentToderian For #HalifaxNS, it would be the gift of courage, just like the lion in the Wizard of Oz. The city lacks bold ambition to curb #CarCulture despite its brand promise of #BeBold and the #IntegratedMobilityPlan from 2017 that was to prioritise the movement of people over cars. It's embarrassing how little action our current council is taking. We are almost going backwards! #ZeroVisionHFX
