How would you classify a #unittest vs #integrationtest vs #systemtest? Usually, what I do is, setup the test for a class / struct, mock the dependencies and call the methods of struct with test input.

Although there is one #testcase I like to write with mocking just the external services, and using internal code without mocking.

Let me know how you prefer doing #devtesting.

I think I need some advice/suggestions on a certain aspect of automatic software testing;

Are there tools or approaches that works with testing email-with-link flows? E.g. reset password - you start by clicking "Forgot password", then enter your email, you receive an email, and when clicking the provided link you get to the page where you can set a new password and then perhaps also continue to test that the password was in fact changed.

Is there value in a unit test that never fails?

Like, the method it tests doesn't change for the lifecycle of the codebase so it doesn't fail after the initial red-green-refactor.

But it's there, just in case.

Just had a nightly integration test suite throw a legitimate error when a new table and particular column was added. Completely forgot about that integration and I'm so happy that test was written a year ago. FTW! #IntegrationTest
