I’m not really fond of judging and of eons past by today’s , but I make an exception when those thinkers make claims to absolute infallibility.

Surely somebody who had recalled the experiences of countless past lives would have the insight to understand that visualizing young girls as corpses is not really advisable. Not conducive to good innocent friendship with those young ladies nor for ones reputation generally speaking

The Deafening Silence of in The Fact of Growing Global Conflicts

Intellectuals do not have a monopoly on culture, on values, or on truth, much less on the meanings attributed to any one of these “domains of the spirit,” as they used to be termed. But intellectuals should also not shrink from denouncing what they see as destructive of culture values, and truth notably when such destruction claims to be carried out in the name of these “domains of spirit”

I have met many people who are not , because they are incapable of being but because they refuse to be. It's "to be, or not to be" kind of question.

I just read someone on post about how are stupid and talk about irrelevant stuff that dont matter in our regular life.

Big thing to say right? I was interested to read their reasoning until the examples or irrelevancy they used were discourses on subjects like and abolition of the , and grouped these subjects with ontology.

This is what they do guys, gaslight us on our intellectual agency on matters that are the most critical to our existence.

Opinion How to restore intellectual diversity on college campuses

The lack of right-of-center professors undermines higher education. It means that some conservative perspectives go unexplored and conservative arguments unexamined. It stifles debate, since even professors and students with reservations about campus orthodoxies will hesitate to voice them if they think they’re alone.

Magnificent article from @MuriamDavis
on , , & the tendency to abstract his thought from its context. I wonder whether, apart from the habit even many critical & radical US have of assuming the US is the centre of the earth & US concepts universal ones, language is not an issue? That you can establish yourself as an expert on Fanon without even learning French, let alone Arabic?
