#Internode sent me an email today telling me that they are discontinuing hosting emails in a couple of months time. This was not my main email account, which received similar advice a month or so back, but why not all at once?
Anyway, I read the bit that said I could change email address for contact on their website and thought "Oh they've changed it at last so you can"
As you can see in the screen grabs, the email says you can, but the website says no.
TPG have really not improved the customer experience for us at all.
why oh why, #Internode, & #iinet are soon to start closing and charging customers to keep their email address through third party service called the #Mail #Company
https://help.iinet.net.au/iinet-email-messaging-company
and the head of the snake of theses companies now being #TPG

After 20 years of emails being a normal part of providing an internet service my ISP #Internode (under the TPG umbrella of companies) has decided that even that feature costs them too much.
I suppose I better also shift any stuff I have on the "included" Web page that has also been around since the year dot.
Need to help someone get onto the Internet via an #NBN connection. Pre-NBN, #Internode was once the choice for good quality Internet and service, and then it was #AussieBroadband. Is ABB still the choice today, or is there a better one?

I remember the time when Internode technical support offered callback service...
A service call into #internode this week. They're sending a specialist to my home. It will be interesting to hear their story about why my home broadband that delivers 45Mbps evenings and weekends degrades to just 16Mbps during the business day, every day. #trust #TPG #NBN #broadband
