After and before shot ☺️. The Well House Bastle* model delivered to the later annex to the original. Showing how life might have looked and sounded in a reiver-proof farmhouse in 1550s border country.

It's part of Nook Farm, Alston also the site of Epiacum Roman fort.

*also known as Whitlow Bastle No.3 as there are six in the area.

@AnujaCabraal Great to see some research people here! I research normative change in International Organizations and in the course of my project I have also discovered reflexivity and treating my interview partners as co-creators of knowledge as crucial to understanding these phenomena. Challenging, but also lots of fun and the research community is awesome and very supportive of each other.
