In the majority of countries, intersex people are subject to non-consensual surgeries in order to align them with a binary standard.

Intersex people are also frequently hidden from wider society, for example via decisions not to teach about related conditions in education.

We should support the rights of intersex people and also ensure that they are represented fairly and included.
