The dragon's intestines seemed to be neverending, you knew hours had passed after your paws disappeared inside of Dev's tailhole but you had no way to be sure

The dimly bioluminescent innards were slathering your body in sticky and musky fluids constantly, with no way out but up and closer to the stomach

Intestinal tissue replicated in a lab setting: Researchers from & @MDC_Berlin have succeeded in reconstructing the intestinal glands (“crypts”) responsible for absorbing nutrients as a 3D cell culture. 🧫

The research team explains in how they produced the artificial crypts and what they learned from them about these structures’ impressive cellular self-organization abilities:

The travel up the dragon's intestines had been going on for hours, the bioluminescent purple flesh rippling all around your body as the powerful muscles of the tight tunnel pushed you deeper and deeper as you could hear the famished stomach approaching~

The deeper you went in the dragon's bowels the more the bioluminescent flesh grew darker, and the more aggressive the villi and muscles became.

Your squirming was either ignored or just pleasured the dragon as you were clenched deep within his innards

You had been crammed in the dragon's small intestine, rippling all over your body as the tight tunnel twisted and constantly moved, the villi slathering your body in fluids.

You didn't know how long the travel was going to be, and you couldn't stop it

Interesting, »but in healthy humans, E. coli is found mainly in the large , where conditions are anaerobic, meaning that the process described in the paper might not occur at the same rate in people«.

Verne was invited over by Devourer so they could have some fun together, the smaller wolf having expressed quite a lot of interest towards the gooey dragon since a while.

One thing led to another and they ended up in the dragon's bed, both of them quite horny.
Next thing you know, some rimming ends up going far deeper than expected, not that Vern minds Dev's intestines~

After the gooey dragon stuffed your car in his tailhole you could do nothing but hope that it wouldn't break.

You tried to drive away or reverse but it didn't work due to the poor grip the wheels had with Devourer's slimy walls, so you just had to sit in silence and hope the creaking would stop

Today's random science fact:

The human intestines are widely known to be the longest organ in the body. It's broken down into both the small and large intestines, part of the larger gastrointestinal tract.

But, how big is it?

The large intestine (our internal camel pack) is a whopping 5-6ft long and at 3in in diameter. It uses its size to store and absorb water from the things we ingest. Otherwise, we would all have diarrhea constantly...

The small but mighty intestine is the true powerhouse. It is a crazy 16-21ft long, and at 1in diameter does 90% of the absorption of nutrients through its membrane.

*Bonus fact

One issue with the small intestine that affects people is celiac disease. It is a gluten allergy that causes the organ to not function properly, inducing pain and swelling, leading to the inability to absorb nutrients.

Fecking hell, the top left abdominal pain which I've had practically every day since getting long Covid 2.5yrs ago is really bad today. The squeezing type feeling around the left colic (splenic) flexure part of my large intestine is horrible.

Here are four possible , each taken from the known evolutionary playbook of :

1.A slide toward endemicity

2.Altered disease and symptoms

"In humans, SARS-CoV-2 has been found in the , , and central system. A new SARS-CoV-2 variant with redirected preference for new organs (organ tropism) could produce new Covid-19 signs and symptoms."

3.Emergence of a new recombinant coronavirus

4.Exploitation of antibodies

"In this worrisome scenario, SARS-CoV-2 evolves to not only evade its human host’s immune response but to actively exploit it. The successive major variants of SARS-CoV-2 so far show that the evolution of the virus helps evade the system. But some coronaviruses take evasion to the level of exploitation."
