Your paws jut out, the blade held in each paw stabbing into the creature's chest. Yanking hard in the opposite direction you laterally bisect the creature before leaping away with a loud yowl. Glancing up towards the sky you note that the day is only half over, still plenty of things to do, places to explore. Turning you leave one very dead unmated demon behind. #IntFic #CYOA #Magic #Kitsune

Flairing out every one of your tails, you leap off the tree. Spinning in mid air you swing first one, then another followed by a third tail, each one coated in white hot fire into the creature. However that's what the creature was waiting for. It manages to grab ahold of you, pinning you to the tree you just leapt out of. Lowering it's head you can feel it's fangs prick against the skin of your neck. #Intfic #CYOA #Magic #Kitsune

You're the ruler of this domain, even if the humans don't realize it yet. It is time for you to start exercising that power. You sit down next to the girl and look up at the table, letting out a long meow. Mother looks at you before getting up from the table. She speaks to you, though you don't understand human. The next thing you know she's picking you up and petting you as she carries you towards your food dish.

A loud roar fills the clearing as your fireball impacts the creature's midrif, several scales flaking off. It lunges towards you and you quickly backwing onto the branch of a tree. Flicking your paws you call your own set of twin blades to hand. Crossing them in front of you you smirk down at the raging demon below. It takes one slow menacing step towards the tree you're perched in. #Intfic #CYOA #Magic #Kitsune

You don't want to seem too obvious. You just hope you can make it before the food is snatched away. Casually, you walk across the tile floor, the family either not noticing, or not reacting to, the dropped chicken. They continue to eat and talk. You finally reach your target and nibble quietly on it. Very, very satisfying, but you're far from full..

Turning with a ball of flame hovering over your paw, you notice a large figure standing in front of you. It's violet eyes glint with a strange sort of hunger, you're not sure if it wants to eat you, or mate you. It's body is covered in ebony scales with a lashing spiked tail behind it. In it's clawed hands it holds a pair of wickedly curved blades. Thrusting your paw forward you send the fireball careening towards the creature. #Intfic #CYOA #Kitsune #Magic

Snickering wickedly to yourself you quickly dart into the trees. After traversing a well known trail you emerge into a clearing. Placing the nugget on a flat-topped boulder, a low growl suddenly emits from nearby. #CYOA #Intfic #Magic #Kitsune

You sniff your food. It smells... tolerable, but you deserve better. You sit patiently in waiting by your dish, the family seemingly paying you no mind as they talk. You slowly get up and slowly inch closer. You're about halfway to the table before a piece of chicken falls off the girl's fork.

Turning towards the glimmer you swiftly make your way towards it. Bending down to scoop it out of the sand you realize that it is a gold nugget. You unfurl your wings quickly winging your way to a secluded spot on the beach. Rummaging through the pebbles you don't find anything of interest. Fanning your 9 tails out to allow the sun's rays to warm them for a moment, a glimmer catches your eye from further up the sand. #CYOA #Intfic #Magic #kitsune

Feeling like you've accomplished enough for now, you carefully move forward and hop onto the bed. Shifting and fussing, you eventually come to a cozy resting position, curled up on your side, your head against the girl's leg. You drift off to sleep.
Opening your eyes, it's bright. You smell food. The little girl is gone. You make your way down the stairs and into the kitchen, where you see a bowl of cat food in the corner. The humans are having breakfast.
