Two Franklin Mountains pictures captured on January 3, 2023, at 3:30 PM MST; 51Β° and windy.
Today, it’s windy and overcast; 62Β°. Earlier (noon) we heard the little Ladderback Woodpecker hopping and peeping up and down the dying mulberry tree, just off the bedroom window. That picture was from February 2022. In another from 2019, he’s snacking on suet hanging on the opposite side of the yard.
