Other things I am into: #coffee (I love it about as much as Dale Cooper), #photography (#filmphotography especially). And I even want to combine the two by trying to develop film with #caffenol at some point.

I think these toots are a nice touch and serve to welcome those newcomers.

But it also pushes irrelevant stuff in peoples' timelines all over Fediverse who themselves try to be friendly and therefore follow the #intoduction hash tag.

I'm a bit hesitant to mute your account because of your being considerate.

Would it also serve your purpose to post these with restricted distribution? Or else from a special purpose account that can be muted?

You can do a #intoduction post to let people know your interests.

Include hastags for your interests, as there is no algorithms and only limited text searching. Hastings are a main way of searching, you can even follow hastags. Since you have a video, you might even want to go back to the above post and use the edit button ( or delete and repost) to add hastags and #intoduction

Hey this is my #intoduction

I'm Mic, 19, gay and I live in Germany.

Most of my free time I spend playing video games or watching sth on Netflix, Prime, Crunchyroll or whatever.

My preferred type of games are either all kinds of multiplayer games I play with friends, or RPGs and roguelikes if I play alone.

Other things I enjoy are art, music and cooking. The problem is, that I'm not that good in any of them, but I've planned to change that this year, at least the cooking part, when I move out of my parent's house in the second half of 2023.

Hope to meet some cool people on here!
