nowhere for brunch.
Between Hick town and Hick town
A hamburger lunch.

Take the Princess to Eden
But I forgot to get fuel.
So 100 k on,
I’m a panicking fool.

Lights flash on the dash.
Warning sounds emit:
Buy me some gas,
you big idiot !

No side road, No traffic,
No help to find.
A scene from deliverance,
comes to my mind

She helps me panic.
The kids don’t know, or care.
Ten more to go.
Where almost there!

A downhill! A downhill!
Thank goodness we’re saved!
Fuels twice the price,
but it has to be paid.

A Christmas road trip,
along the coast road.
A truely happy adventure….
We’re on our way home.
