Ich habe hier schon geschrieben, wie gut "Segler auf sternenloser See" von Harley Stroh als Oneshot ist. Gilt auch sonst.

"The Iron Coral" von Chris McDowall im Regelwerk von #IntoTheOdd ist sehr spannend und trotz weniger Worte voller stimmungsvoll. Auch: Superweird.

Ich mag "The Stygian Library" von Emmy Allen sehr, habe es aber nie gespielt. Das könnte man aber gut mit #SwordsAndWizardry oder #ElectricBastionland tun.

Tag 3 "First RPG bought (this year)"

Ich habe dieses Jahr physikalisch zuerst das fabelhafte #Hyperborea 3Rd Edition gekauft, ein "Weird Science Fantasy" Clone von AD&D1 und... Zeugs von Jeffrey Talanian.

E-Books zählen bei mir - rein emotional - immer noch nicht so richtig, eigentlich ist mein erster Rollenspielkauf 2023 #ElectricBastionland von Chris McDowall bei (dt. Version bei @systemmatters ) gewesen, ein #IntotheOdd Abkömmling voller hinreißender Ideen.

Mi preferencia es dirigir partidas con sistemas derivados OSR, como #ViejaEscuela e #IntoTheOdd (Cairn, Monolith, Mausritter, El Archivo de Electro). Tengo experiencia en ser jugador de Mundo de Tinieblas, la Llamada de Cthulhu y D&D 5ª, aunque este último lo dejé de lado hace bastante.

Y nada, espero encontrar gente nueva para conocer o reencontrar a otra gente en el exilio de Twitter.

Der Erstentwurf von "Die Ghulscheuchen von Kosvin" (Arbeitstitel) nähert sich mit großen Schritten dem Ende. Obwohl für #SwordsAndWizardry gedacht, wird es wohl ein Anhang mit Werten für #Cairn und damit #IntoTheOdd Spiele geben.

Da meine S&W Runde nur alle 4-6 Wochen spielt, muss ich aber wohl nach meinem Urlaub mal schauen, ob ich in kürzeren Abständen (vllt. wöchentlich) Sessions für das Abenteuer hinkriege und dafür Leute finde.

@Bartimaeus @pnpnerd ich würde #CairnRPG aufgrund der grundlegenden Mechaniken am ehesten als Hack von #IntoTheOdd einsortieren, aber das Magiesystem z.B. ist klar an #KnaveRPG angelehnt.
In jedem Fall ein tolles System - noch dazu eines mit einer aktiven deutschsprachigen Community. (Ich habe damals mit anderen das Lektorat gemacht - in erster Linie aber wurde das Projekt von @michael angestoßen.)

@tinheadned Curious, you mention #blackhack offering more complexity than e.g. #intotheodd. What complexity are you referring to and how do you think its improving gameplay for you?
Really interested because I like both systems a lot and I feel #intotheodd would be the perfect fit for the setting.
