My take on the recent regional #elections in #Catalunya: Looks as if the extremes have won, with both separatists and nationalists (VOX) winning a lot of votes and seats. Does not bode well for negotiations with Madrid, really. Luckily no hardliners in charge in Madrid at the moment, but still a more than complicated situation, created in large parts by the #PP-led Central government's #intransigence reg, any kind of #autonomy. #Spain

WARNING: #nationalism can lead to self-inflicted damages and pain - not just through war. The stubborn #intransigence of #hardbrexit supporters is truly baffling to me. Do these folks hate their jobs as much as they hate the EU?
