Hi everyone. My name is Bruce Toews. I was born in Altona, Manitoba, a small rural town on the Canadian prairies. I was born totally blind, ant to local public school. While in school, my parents encouraged me to try everything from music to curling to ice skating. After high school, I attended Winnipeg Bible College and obtained a B.A. in biblical studies.I obtained my braille proofreader certification and became a fulltime proofreader in 1997, and I now work for Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning. I love my God, I love my wife Caroline, I love my family, and I love my friends. I love the English language, I love puns, and I love playing with technology, especially exploring new technologies where I have the chance. My goal is to be friendly, respectful, sometimes opinionative. I tend to lean right politically, but do not choose my friends based on anything but the personality and nature of the person in question. We can disagree about just about everything, but as long as you respect me I'll respect you and we can still be friends. #Introductin
