It starts with a #hole in one of my favourite wool #jumpers. I bought it in Italy, so it reminds me of the holidays. And I love this delicate pastel #yellow. I have to save it! I look for something #colourful + joyful. Normal #darning is too boring.

Do you remember how I decided to #embroider #mosses in a 3-D way?
SLOWLY, I advance.
I found out that the secret lies in quite #natural = irregular #stitches and mixing #colours and #yarns. I'm using mainly #FrenchKnots (twined 1-5x), but also free #stitching where I later cut some of the threads open. Some glossy #yarn between imitates humid #moss.

Minus 10°C in the #naturepark #VosgesDuNord, grey fog swallows up the white landscape and the birds are miserably hungry. I already fill the feeders a couple of times a day.

Some intuitive stitching with watercolor I made a while back. It's one of my favorites, maybe because the process of making it was so relaxing. It's freeing not having a specific idea of what the final result should be and just enjoy the process.
