Inuksuk built by Inuk artist and politician Piita Taqtu Irniq, located in Ada Hayden Heritage Park in Ames, Iowa. Inuksuit are stone cairns erected by Inuit and other First Nations people throughout Arctic North America. There are two other of Irniq's Inuksuit in public parks in Ames.
