It started with #twitter when API using third party apps were excluded,but #nitter keeps running,they don't use the twitter #API. Then #Redit and now #youtube / #google against #invideous.

This will not stop, didn't google recently come out and say that #AI's biggest competitor is the #OpenSource community?

Even if I mix the services, it would be time to creat an AI project for the #Fediverse, clients could contribute computing time to train LMs but also to use it.

Personally I wholeheartedly agree with you and almost all of your reasons on this one. I'm very happy to see you supporting the very reasonable @tilvids on #Peertube, rather than a bunch of racists on a platform that talks about decentralization but increasingly appears to be just one real instance.

I do question the assertion that a view through #invideous doesn't count as a view on Youtube, but I could well be wrong here.

Anyway, kudos for doing what you feel is right.

@illionas ich gehöre nicht zur Bande, kenne mich daher auch nur laienhaft aus.
Aber du kannst auf der Homepage alles nachlesen und es gibt auch viele gute Erklärvideos die du über #invideous anschauen kannst.

That said, I personally plan on not letting #Google anywhere near my beloved Pinephone if I can help it (GAnalytics blocker in #Firefox, #invideous etc).

I'd rather that a gateway option exists for people tied to #Android, but looking to start #degoogling, though.
