#InvoiceNinja is pretty awesome albeit a bit clunky in its UI. Client Portal is great, everything just works.™

#ERPNext (v14) is shiny but is an absolute mess in regards to software quality. (Everything is broken in some way, this includes security)

Any personal recommendations?

Updated my #Ubuntu 18.04 server to 22.04 yesterday. Holy $)*# what a nightmare! The nightmare was with #InvoiceNinja. Finally, after setting up VM's for testing I got it somewhat figured out. Need some more tweaking, but...I just might convert my old Dell Celeron machine to a NUC with an i3, maybe an i5, can't remember & I'm to lazy to walk 10 feet & look 😂

Each new #InvoiceNinja release is thoroughly tested before rolled out on our managed #servers. During these QA tests, we sometimes find bugs or other issues. Here's such an example involving a different #SMTP connection after an upgrade. 👇

Nach dem Update gestern bei der #NextCloud war heute das Rechnungsportal #InvoiceNinja dran. Läuft nun mit 5.5.x ziemlich rund. Blöd war nur, dass die Variablen in den Dokumenten teilweise geändert wurden.

#til when you start tracking time while editing a timetracking task in #invoiceninja, you must save afterwards. it maybe sounds logical but it appears that yesterday i've just closed the app without thinking about it. and it didn't try to stop me from that. anyhow... sh*t
