Today was the 19th Annual event in / to raise awareness of the neglected state of in Upper :: its been succeeding- the bike/pedestrian bridge that brought freshwater and fueled the growth of NYC has been restored. 12 groups hiked dozens of miles uptown then had an mc’d party at the end.

Next time your Community Board obsesses about bike/ebike annoyances instead of car dangers, show them this plot. Car/truck violence yields 100x injuries of bikes and e-bikes combined.
No one cares about enforcing red light violations postcovid (georgefloyd?). Interesting b/c thinks leading pedestrian intervals are a traffic calming measure.

I booked an appearance at the POINT community development center in the about the and just booked and in person community input session at Dyckman Senior Center about the development at Academy Street and North Cove in . The Inwood meeting is closer, but my heart is a bit more with the Bronx River. Tough decision.

A car injured 22 people and took out my favorite neighborhood place — home of delectable $5 lunch specials with $5 frozen drinks. (Yes. Fabulous food and beverages at a great price in Manhattan.) And thus also where *everyone* goes out to eat. Construction workers. MTA on shift change. Old retired ladies. Wedding Parties. Where I took my folks for New Year’s.

They haven’t caught the culprits.
