I saw a Hyundai #ioniq6 for the first time today. It’s encouraging to see that at least one carmaker is continuing to offer cars with good sight lines rather than switching entirely to larger, taller SUVs in the transition to electric vehicles.

#Hyundai released pricing for the #IONIQ6 in the US, today. Pretty much what I expected. Not amazing, considering they aren’t getting the $7500 federal incentive, anymore.
What really jumped out at me, though, was the huge disparity in projected range between the base extended-range model and the next trim level up. You take an 18%+ range hit (361mi vs 305mi) for what is most likely just larger wheels. Maybe stop putting huge wheels on these things! #EV #EVs #BEV
