Another TestFlight for the Amiibo app. This one adds a paywall, custom icons, integration with spotlight and some fixes.
Still works for iOS 16+ but the final version will be iOS 17+.
You can still join it. https://testflight.apple.com/join/sz144NXa

Hi All!
Here is a first TestFlight of my Amiibo collection manager app.
Basic functionality are here, so you can scan an Amiibo to add it, there is a Widget for quick access to the scan feature.
Also for now this version doesn’t lock anything, still working on the in-app purchase.

In the end, it depends on what you want to do with your games. For @games I’m looking into adding some stuff for tracking play time etc.. But I think that will never become the important part of the app. I want to focus more on the games you have on shelfs.
On the other hand TGDB have entries for each game on each platform and region variant. Which I think is better to track a video game collection even more a physical one. The issue with TGDB might be the low quality of some entries, but the database is open and everyone can update it.
IGDB is more like an IMDB, with entries for each games, and a lot of metadata around it. Games cover are independent from the platform, a bit like a film poster vs the bluray box. Which I think works well for tracking game you’re playing or want to play, like you do with Trakt.tv (for movies) for example.
I see more apps helping manage a video games. From what I see they mostly use IGDB (which is fine), while I’m one of the few using TGDB.
I think depending on the one you use the apps help us manage things a bit differently.
What’s the best #iOS workout tracking app, i.e. to track reps and weight for wrightlifting exercise?
I’m looking for basically a glorified Excel/Numbers sheet, *not* a subscription-based coaching app that provides workout plans itself.

I’ve also added a way to filter them on iPhone, like the Platforms, and list them in the sidebar on iPad. I kinda like how it looks on iPad, but not yet a fan of the iPhone version, I guess at some point I’ll have to rethink the filters.

So yesterday night I continued working on Games, I had an old branch where I started implementing the display of game genre. I'm not a fan of how I list them in the detail screen, but I don't have any other idea yet.

So yesterday I continued working on my Amiibo app. I've tried to make the app icon. Not sure about the result yet.

Lastly the weird stuff.
I don’t think I didn’t something fancy. Last addition was to add a NavigationView to my detail view while in landscape so I could add a close button.
And know layout of cells is breaking when rotating…
😮💨

So I’ve continued working on my Amiibo app. Swift UI is nice, it’s quick to iterate, but I feel like I spend to much time on things that should work.

📢 Did you know you can view documents on the go, mirror your Mac, and test prototypes on your iPhone?
Well, now you can do all of this on your iPad too! 📱
And in our latest update, we've added offline mode and local file support. Grab the update from the App Store now: https://skt.ch/App_Store 🔗

Hello Fediverse!
I'm looking for testers for my iOS App, GoVJ (https://govjapp.com).
I've added MIDI support to enable control of the app from a keyboard or controller. MIDI over bluetooth also works too.
So if you have the hardware and want to give it a go, I'd love to hear how that goes for you 🤙

Continuing on that, I took a bit of time to add an empty state.
I'm starting to like, more and more how easy it is to do stuff in SwiftUI.

So, yesterday I had to continue. Did a bit of improvements on the list design, and added the possibility to filter by type.
I also spend a bit of time creating an SF Symbol for the Amiibo logo.

I know I'm supposed to work on List support in Games. But yesterday I couldn’t help myself, and work on another side project 😅😁
Since @games now support #Shortcuts I would like to share with you my first one.
It allows you to search for a game and mark it as finished.
