Finally home after another #iOSDevUK, and it _was_ a bit good.
Again!
Aberystwyth is as gorgeous as ever, the conference was fab, and I met a lot of new friends and old friends.
My main takeaway from #iOSDevUK - write semantic SwiftUI.
Not groundbreaking, but I don’t think I’ve heard it expressed so simply before.
If you want something that acts like a toggle, use a toggle and style it. Don’t build a toggle from scratch.
It’s easier to read, and it’s going to work better for all your users.
I mean, you’d write semantic html right? RIGHT!?
Yes motivated at least a few to build more for watchOS again! 😍
Thanks for having me #iOSDevUK!
🎉⌚️ Hey everyone! I'm happy to share that I'll host a watchOS workshop at #iOSDevUK this year! Let's get together and create something exciting for watchOS 10. Now's the perfect time to dive into Apple Watch development. Hope to see you there!
Excited to share that I'll be giving a talk at #iOSDevUK in September this year! I’ll be sharing my learnings on implementing remote push notifications in a large-scale application.
Grateful to be given the opportunity to present remotely from New Zealand but also a bit sad that I won't be joining everyone else in person in Aberystwyth. Maybe next time 🙂
