@richardtol @TatianaIlyina Science is a social endeavour. As a non scientist or a non specialist I have to rely on a scientific community. The #IPCC summarizes the knowledge of a scientific community and is operating in a very transparent manner. There is no reason to trust you more – e.g. on the 1.5° goal where you simply misrepresent the core statements of the IPCC.

Io seguo la scienza, e #IPCC nei suoi rapporti associa al nucleare una varietà di RISCHI E BARRIERE, che tu a quanto pare ignori, ma il decisore politico è tenuto a conoscere per prendere una decisione informata e basata sulla scienza nelle politiche energetiche di una nazione. In figura trovi la fonte testuale e una mia tabella di sintesi di ciò che dice IPCC (non io)

Ogni volta che qualcuno dice che non siamo sicuri che il #cambiamentoclimatico sia provocato dall'uomo, o che l'#IPCC è un gruppo di prezzolati, che lo fanno per farci cambiare auto/ristrutturare casa/etc, voi tirate fuori questo grafico e chiedetegli se, visto che non si fidano dell'#UE, degli scienziati o dell'IPCC, magari si fidano di una delle più grandi compagnie petrolifere.

La #Exxon già negli anni 70 aveva stimato con ragionevole precisione l'aumento di CO2 in atmosfera dovuto ai #combustibilifossili, e il conseguente aumento di temperatura.

Poi ha fatto di tutto per negarlo e nasconderlo, per non intaccare i #profitti.

Sono stufo di #negazionismovlomatico e di gente che, semplicemente, non vuole ammettere che il proprio (nostro, delle nazioni ricche) stile di vita ne è la causa.
