(3/4) The method is easy to implement: all you need is effect estimates & SEs, for each patient subgroup, for each trial.
You might get this from #IPD or from trial publications.

The best way is to *prospectively plan* your #metaAnalysis to obtain complete subgroup data! (see e.g. https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pmed.1003629)
