My main gripe with companies like this is that they poop out hardware and never keep the software up-to-date. These do have WiFi and BT, along with a few applications for streaming services. Thus, they are potentially volunerable.
They are seriously still selling an older model with #android 8. Shame.
That's why I figure a stripped down #Linux distro can't be as bad.

After a soooo many tries, if finally been able to find the way to update iPod Touch (1g), and synchronise it with the new MacOS.
(context: it was on IOS 1.1.1, so it would not show up on modern MacOS)
The trick was to update the firmware in UTM with OSX Lion image 😵💫
Got to say I love how simplistic apple os' used to be.

so as always am going to have to macgyver a solution together now

I didn't have any time to do what I like and if I did I wouldn't have been able to enjoy it anyway. Today I'm finally done and for the last 3 hours I've just been listening to #music on my trusty #iPod classic. I love this device so much. I can't ever forgive apple for killing the iPod line. Also, it's been a while since I could really sit back and just appreciate music on its own. It's the little things. :ablobcatmusic:

I dropped my iPod so hard the SD card popped out internally. So I had to pull out the iFixit kit at work and reseat it. This is why I carry tools with me everywhere. I’ve fixed my glasses and more right on the spot. Expect the best and prepare for the worst!
She’s working again of course.
