OTOH, I like the idea of each POTUS having exactly two appointments. But doesn't solve the Evil Fuckery that is #MitchMcConnell, who would gleefully block 2 Obama appointments, shove 4 assholes through during #IQ45 term, etc.

They should take the SCOTUS approval power away from the fucking Senate & instead have the HoR do it, which is more representative of the actual constituency.

Sad truth: we watched that show as a family. We kids were young.

NOTHING was explained to us.

But we all knew (from our parents' reactions) that the bad guy in the ensemble was Michael "Meathead" Stivig.

Oof, well, depending on which server(s) one is talking about, they have a point. I mean, my understanding is that #TFG #IQ45 set up a "new" SM site when Twitter banned him... and it's a Mastodon server.

So Mastodon isn't any one thing, good or bad. It's any and all of the things. I'm just very relieved that it allows the good things to exist and - dare I say - thrive.
