#ChatGPT can program an NMBS/SNCB app for you on top of the #iRail API!

We asked it to create an overview of all delayed train departures in Brussels South. After a little bit of feedback, it came up with this 👇

Seems like a cool tool for rapidly prototyping an idea.

Too bad #chatGPT is not open source and is a proprietary model, but it is thought provoking on how AI can assist our creative engineering process.

So, that was a rush! Old
SNCB API we scraped from went down. NMBS was so kind to reactivate it... But only for 2 weeks.

@BertMarcelis@twitter.com and an awesome #iRail community just redeployed a new implementation of the entire API so that everything is working again just fine!

The #iRail API is currently down due to an internal SNCB API we relied on being turned off.

This means quite some apps in Belgium will have broken public transport support at this moment, such as BeTrains, Railer, HyperRail, KBC app, etc.

We are in contact both with SNCB and with community members to help and resolve the issue asap.
