122 followers · 330 posts · Server h4.ioGiven the expectation that it will be almost impossible to land an #R1 #tenure track position after finishing my #PhD, I find it even more disheartening that non-#university-affiliated #IRBs charge a minimum of $500 to review your independently done #research. That's so prohibitive for individuals who have expertise but no #academic post, and charging feels unethical to begin with.
