I believe that all libraries in the US should be mandated to very publicly post a list of all banned books in that library.

Put the list on a wall near the entrance and make it look like the 10 Commandments so the evangelicals can appreciate the fascism they are currently embracing.

Also mandate the list being included in a nation-wide online database.

Three academic all-stars in Iowa used their acceptance of an award from Gov. Kim Reynolds as an opportunity to troll her on-stage. The trio called out her transphobia and fetish for book bans. Impressive, Gen-Z... impressive!

My next two books are definitely Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe and Lawn Boy by Jonathan Evison. Any recommendations on good banned books?

This evening I am grateful my daughter is a reader. When she asked me to buy this one for her, she opened with the enticing fact that the author’s books have been banned in several places. (We consider that a selling point in our household.) Needless to say, she owned a copy mere minutes later!
