The night owl in me, has me writing the full outline of Reindeer Paper 1 Draft 0, where I spill the story onto paper, no citations, the facts as much as possible.

More from Killuragh cave, Ireland. This distal humerus (fore leg) bone from a pig of wild boar found in the same pit fill as Arctic lemming, Irish mountain hare and wood mouse. Hopefully we can get it radiocarbon dated. Starting to prepare #IrishCaveBones from Killuragh Cave, Co. Limerick for Licencing applications to the National Museim of Ireland, for radiocarbon dates, #aDNA and stable isotopes from multi-species. Including #dogs ! Will be photographing these & more later in the week and filling in the licence forms. PostScript: Myself & Allan McDevitt started a #IrishCaveBones mini-project back in 2015, with no funding. We eventually got some dating costs from Royal Irish Academy and Irish Quaternary Association.

30/n So more excitement lies ahead for 2023 on #IrishCaveBones results and sharing of knowledge into our past here in Ireland. Special human-animal relationships. Lots of caves to visit. Hopefully more funding. Blog posts with updates on our website

29/n We will be running one or two (depends on timing) crowdfunding Kickstarters, with these unqiue SciArt interpretations of our #IrishCaveBones research and results, later this year, when 2 very (EPIC) papers will be published. These will fund more dating & other analysis costs

23/n In the meantime, I've created a website for all the #IrishCaveBones research and adventures, a repository and archive going forward, as there are so many collaborations now and I have some mini-projects spinning off too. Need somewhere to put all this, &photos, with blog too

8/n So, where are we at now? Our current & future work. It's not just me anymore, a collaborative team of researchers have joined to become the #IrishCaveBones research team, working together to produce new knowledge, building on earlier research into Ireland's palaeoecosystems.
