In the last few days, donkey Kwiatek and pony Trotsky spent a lot of time together.

They were standing closely next to each other and even eating together. Normally Trotsky shoos him away and Kwiatek is overall not comfortable standing too close to the horses.

But just look at how well they‘re doing together ☺️

Trotsky has super interesting eyes: one is completely blue and the other one (visible in this photo) is mostly black but has also a splash of blue in it.

Yesterday, Trotsy and I had a really good groundwork session!

We did transitions between travers, leg yields and counter shoulder-ins and she did great. Even though I was to lazy to bring my dressage whip and used a long blade of grass instead lol

Afterwards I let her roam for a bit and she found this very practical grass bar 😂

Trotsky seeing sheep for the first time in her life! That was 1 1/2 years ago.

The halter in the photo was so big on her back then. Now it doesn’t even fit her anymore 😆
