Dilemma, do I stop at Iron Bridge on the way to Wales or just get there more quickly? I love the moment I cross the border into Wales. Why stop at iron Bridge? Because there is a Pork Pie shop in Iron Bridge and I besides one for myself, sometimes buy a pie for friends near where I stay in Wales.

@HopePhil I think that their choice of lighting doesn't really do it justice. #Ironbridge simply has to be seen in natural daylight. It's the sort of view that just doesn't work in any kind of monochrome.

Eventful #bikeride down into the #Gorge this morning. The #River #Severn in #flood but the barriers in #Ironbridge have held. The Boat Inn is flooded.This is where I had to fix my first puncture for a couple of years and proved quite problematic as did cricking my back lifting the bike . : (

@lizl_genealogy The same here, temperatures in early January have hit 14C where I live & as a result heating not kicked in as often, which is good given the extortionate charges being made for energy at the moment. The downside is that we have seen more rain, mainly in Wales which has caused severe flooding in #Shrewsbury & #ironbridge the latter has showed that we have hundreds of dredging experts on Social Media. 😂

During the summer, finally got around to moving on from a large motorcycle we are never going to get around to touring on again, and downsized to a scooter. It is certainly smaller and lighter, cheaper to run, and more agile, but it is no 50cc Vespa.
