I'm normally pretty cool around the house, in the #kitchen.

But (since I do all the cooking), I do tend to get mildly #irritated when things I expect to be in a certain place are no longer in a certain place and I have to hunt for them. Usually while something critical is happening on the stove.

And by mildly irritated I mean #Shrike from #Mortal #Engines.

My flight has been delayed three times. I was supposed to be in DC at this point. I’m still at least 3 hours out.

Welp. This #MXLinux install isn't. The installer appears to set up Grub, but on reboot nada. Falls to grub> prompt. Cannot as yet (after 3 hours) get to a booted instance. Can see volumes, set root, set linux, set initrd. But no root=/dev/sdX# has worked and I am dropped into the initramfs prompt. #irritated

Day 1.5 of working after the Christmas break and I am totally over it. #Irritated

You'd think, setting up #Gitlab to use #Kubernetes for its CI/CD runners would be an easy thing.

Each time the Republicans gain even a smidgen of power, it’s always worse than before. You think they’d settle down, but no. Come January, it’s going to be a 24/7 shit show, as they attempt to dominate the news cycle with manufactured scandal after manufactured outrage. It will be noxious and relentless. So I’ll ask again. What are the Democrats planning to do, seeing as they control the WH and Senate? Flounder? Or actually do something?
