One of 2022's highlights is studying the work of Paredon Records, https://folkways.si.edu/paredon, US-based label founded by writer, Irwin Silber and musician, Barbara Dane. Partners in life and both activists, they supported musicians and movements for national liberation and democratic rights by publishing music, songs, poetry and speeches.

It's a large discography with around 50 LPs produced in the 70s, each one accompanied by liner notes that contained lyrics and essays that situated the records in the sites of struggle that birthed them.
